The Dreamplex Orlando Magic Dreamers delivered impressive performances at the 10th annual Big Peach Slam Jam Wheelchair Basketball Tournament in January.

Both Magic Dreamers teams posted strong 2-2 records against competitive national competition, with the Prep team earning 2nd place in the Prep NIT division and the JNIT team finishing 4th place. Three athletes earned All-tournament honors!

Thank You to Our Volunteer Movers!

This past Saturday, January 24, nearly 30 volunteers and staff came together to support our Orlando site relocation. Thanks to their help with moving, loading, and unloading items of all shapes and sizes, the transition was a huge success.

We’re grateful to volunteers from our staff and families, Lake Highland Prep, and Beloved Church, as well as the spouses and family members who generously watched children all day so others could lend a hand.

A special thank-you to the McQuaig Family and their landscaping business for their support - we couldn’t have done this without you.

We are so thankful for this incredible community and the teamwork that made it all possible.

Friendly Grounds Café Grand Opening - February 11th, 2026 ☕

Our new Friendly Grounds Café is already creating buzz! We were honored to welcome FOX 35, who helped highlight our mission of inclusive employment and community connection.

Join us on February 11th (National Latte Day) as we welcome our Dreamplex family at our Grand Opening! This celebration marks more than a café opening - it’s the launch of a real-world training space where adults with disabilities gain valuable job and life skills in a supportive environment.

What to expect: great coffee, café favorites, inspiring participants, and a special moment as the Mayor receives the first official latte - served by a Dreamplex client.

Every cup supports confidence, independence, and opportunity.

The Future of the Dreamplex Is Fueled by Leadership and Excitement!

Central Florida Dreamplex recently held its annual Board Retreat, bringing together leadership for a meaningful day of planning, alignment, and big-picture visioning for the year ahead. The retreat focused on strengthening our strategic plan, setting priorities, and dreaming boldly about what’s next for our organization and the community we serve.

Adaptive Sports programs are underway at the Central Florida Dreamplex! Let us know if you're interested in trying out one of the sports below - we're always welcoming new members!

Track & Field - Dreamplex Parasports
Learn and practice various track and field events. Start at a recreational level and build to competitive level. All necessary equipment is provided. Open to all children and adults ages 5+ with physical impairments.

Wheelchair Basketball – Orlando Magic Dreamers
Our wheelchair basketball program is back for another season, offering both recreational and competitive divisions. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your game to the next level, the Magic Dreamers are a great way to stay active, build confidence, and be part of a supportive team environment.

Power Soccer – Dreamplex Dragons
For athletes who use power wheelchairs, power soccer offers fast-paced action, strategy, and fun. The Dreamplex Dragons are now forming teams, and we welcome new and returning athletes of all skill levels.

Sled Hockey – Sled Bears
Get ready to hit the ice - registration for our sled hockey program is now open! The Sled Bears program is perfect for those looking to try something new or continue building their hockey skills in a fun and inclusive setting.

Whether you're playing for fun or aiming for competition, our adaptive sports programs are designed to challenge, inspire, and connect athletes of all abilities. We’re looking forward to an exciting season filled with growth, teamwork, and community.

APPROVED PROVIDER FOR MED-WAIVER AND CDC PLUS

The Friendship Place runs Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Each day is filled with engaging activities designed to build social and life skills, including fitness and exercise classes, arts and crafts, cooking, games, community outings, and more.

We’re excited to share that The Friendship Place at the Central Florida Dreamplex is an approved provider for Med-Waiver and CDC+ consumers! Services are offered under Life Skills Development (Companion Services) and Personal Support.

Learn to Screen Print
@ Dreamplex Orlando

Explore your artistic side and build valuable skills in our hands-on Screen Printing Class, designed for individuals with learning differences. Held at our Dreamplex Orlando location, this one-on-one class is led by a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and focuses on building fine motor skills, confidence, and creative expression in a fun, supportive environment.

Students will learn screen printing step-by-step, safe tool and ink handling, workspace setup and cleanup, color mixing, printing on shirts and bags, teamwork and creative fun.

The class includes 4 weekly, one-hour sessions, with flexible scheduling - we’ll work with you to find a day and time that fits!

Open to students ages 18 and up.
Cost: $300
We accept Private Pay and the Step Up for Students scholarship.

DREAMPLEX THERAPEUTIC SCHOOL | JOIN THE WAITLIST

Registration is full for all grades, Preschool-12th for the 2025/2026 school year! However, we are accepting waitlist applications!

Our program provides a supportive, inclusive environment with therapy services available during the school day. Outside ABA therapists and nurses are welcome to accompany students at all grade levels.

Tuition may be covered through the Step Up for Students Scholarship, and we’re happy to guide you through the application process.
