Classes and instruction are tailored to those with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Recreational therapy has been shown to help therapy clients increase self-confidence and reach their goals, such as improving flexibility, gross motor skills, balance, strength, coordination, and social skills, all while having fun!

The Central Florida Dreamplex is an approved provider for the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) to be used towards membership and/or classes. More scholarships are available, are based on several criteria, andcould cover 25%-75% of membership or class costs!

JESSICA SUKHUM, Director of Sports & Recreation, is UCF graduate with a background in Health Sciences, Jessica’s journey with Dreamplex is a powerful example of growth and purpose. She began as a front desk receptionist and–through adaptability and a deep belief in the mission–rose into a leadership position where she now helps shape the organization’s impact.
Known for her resilience and heart, Jessica brings a deeply personal understanding of overcoming challenges and turning them into strength. She is passionate about creating spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive. Her leadership is rooted in compassion, connection, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience joy, dignity, and belonging.
