Cameron Gomes
Chief Executive Officer
Cameron Gomes has served as CEO of the Central Florida Dreamplex since 2014, leading the organization’s growth even before its grand opening in January 2015. As CEO, he oversees the strategic vision, program development, and community partnerships that drive the Dreamplex’s mission to provide inclusive, life-enriching programs for individuals with disabilities, special needs and their families.
With a strong background in nonprofit leadership and a deep-rooted commitment to equity and inclusion, Cameron has been instrumental in expanding the Dreamplex’s reach and impact across Central Florida. Under his guidance, the organization has launched new therapy services, grown its vocational and recreational offerings, and established a more sustainable operational foundation.
Cameron’s collaborative leadership style and passion for community empowerment have positioned the Central Florida Dreamplex as a regional leader in inclusive programming. A Clermont native, Cameron graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida and later earned his MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology. He also spent four years at Lockheed Martin in Orlando, during which he served on the Dreamplex Board of Directors.
Outside of work, Cameron enjoys spending time on the lake with his wife, Sarah, and their daughters, Rory and Elsie. A devoted UCF football fan, he also coaches the Dreamplex Sled Bears sled hockey team. His personal passion for this work is deeply inspired by his younger sister Abby, who has Down Syndrome, and his unwavering desire to create opportunities for people of all abilities.
