Our Story
In 2009, pediatric therapists serving Central Florida recognized children and adults with disabilities were being left on the sidelines. Motivated by their faith, they dedicated their lives to creating a more inclusive community.
In 2015, The Central Florida Dreamplex opened its doors, turning dreams into reality for extraordinary people with disabilities and their families.
Our Mission
Our faith-based mission drives us to include all individuals, regardless of ability, in sports, recreation, therapy, education, and employment, fostering a community of acceptance and support.
Our Vision
Creating a community that allows all persons, regardless of ability, to achieve their dreams
The Opportunities
Today, the Central Florida Dreamplex offers traditional and recreational therapies, adaptive sports, education, vocational rehabilitation, and social opportunities for the whole family.
Both the Clermont and Orlando sites have space for therapies, recreation, and vocational rehabilitation. Additionally, Clermont is home to the Dreamplex Therapeutic School and an accessible and adaptive fitness center. Sports clinics, practices, and games are often held at our partnering organizations, including Real Life Christian Church, Montverde Academy, and UCF Athletics, who generously provide us use of their venues at little to no cost.
Who We Serve
We serve children and adults of all ages with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.
Members, patients, and visitors to our facilities represent a diverse list of disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputees, visual impairments, and other learning and intellectual disabilities.
