Dreamplex began offering wheelchair basketball opportunities in 2019, starting with clinics in the Orlando area that gave children with disabilities a chance to learn the game, build skills, and have fun in a supportive environment.

The organization’s roots trace back to 2009, when a group of pediatric therapists in Central Florida recognized that children and adults with disabilities were often left out of traditional sports and recreational activities. Motivated by their faith and driven by a mission of inclusion, they committed themselves to creating a more accessible and empowering community.

This vision came to life in 2015 with the opening of the Central Florida Dreamplex, a facility designed to turn dreams into reality for individuals with disabilities and their families through adaptive sports, therapy, and recreational programs.
