Effort & Attitude
● I will try my hardest in all practices and games
● I will have patience with myself and maintain a positive attitude even when challenges arise
● I remember that this sport is a game to be enjoyed
Attendance & Participation
● I will attend 80% of scheduled practices and actively participate in every practice and event
● If I cannot attend, I will inform my coaches in advance
● I agree to participate in fundraiser events to support the team
Communication & Advocacy
● I will approach coaches directly with questions about playing time, game strategy, or other topics at an appropriate time (after games or practices, not during)
● If I need a break during a game, I will signal coaches to be taken out
● I understand coaches make decisions about lineups and playing time, and that playing time varies based on skill development and game situations
Academic Commitment (for youth players enrolled in school)
● I will maintain appropriate grades and behavior, keeping in mind this is an extra-curricular activity
● If I fall below a C average in any class, I will seek tutoring services
● I will provide a copy of my report card every school quarter/semester
Consequences
I understand that failure to comply with this code of conduct may result in reduced playing time or suspension from athletic participation. Anytime a player is in violation of the code of conduct, they and their parent(s) will receive a warning prior to any suspension.

Positive Support
● I will provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child's participation
● I will place the emotional and physical well-being of each child above any personal desire to win
● I will remember that the game is for the children, not for the adults
Sportsmanship & Respect
● I will demonstrate positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every practice, game, or event
● I will ask my child to treat others with respect, regardless of race, gender, religion, or ability
● I will model appropriate behavior when the team is gathered and when dispersed
● I will respect all coaches, other parents, team members, referees, and opponents
Attendance & Engagement
● I will make every effort for my child to attend all practices and games
● I will provide proper notification to coaches if my child is unable to attend
● I will be involved in parent committees and support the team with my time and talents
Communication & Collaboration
● I will encourage my child to speak directly with coaches about questions or concerns at appropriate times (not during practices or games)
● If additional support is needed, I understand Team Managers can help facilitate conversations
● I will discuss areas of improvement with the entire committee rather than separately with only a few parents
● I understand that while parent input is valued and welcomed, coaches have final authority on athletic decisions that impact the team
Team Culture
● I will support good attendance at practices, tournaments, and team building activities
● I will contribute to a collaborative team environment where feedback is welcomed and shared constructively
