Aquatic Therapy and Adaptive Swim Lessons
Adaptive swim lessons will resume in April 2020, with sessions being held through September. We will once again be partnering with Harrison Swim School, Assured Aquatics, and other local instructors to offer these lessons to children and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities/special needs. Scholarships are available to Lake County children through the Lake County Children Services Council, and ALL are encouraged to apply, with first priority given to low-income families and others with financial hardships. Gardiner scholarship recipients can be reimbursed for swim lessons as the Dreamplex is an approved Gardiner provider.
- Complete the electronic Registration and Questionnaire Forms linked below. Print, complete, and submit the scholarship form (if applicable; all are encouraged to apply). You may return this in-person to the Dreamplex or email it to [email protected]
- Please make $75 deposit here (under general support). Please put child’s name in the Notes box. Deposit will be applied to cost of lessons, and becomes non-refundable once lessons are scheduled. Remaining balance (minus any scholarship award) will be due by check made payable to Central Florida Dreamplex at the 1st lesson.
- Print, sign, and bring the Waiver and Media Release Form to your instructor at the 1st lesson.
- You will be contacted by Ginny Harrison, Adaptive Aquatics Director, by phone or email to book your child’s lessons. Any balance due may be paid the 1st day of lessons by check payable to Central Florida Dreamplex. If you are receiving a scholarship, you will be notified before lessons begin with further instructions.
