We are a group of volunteers coordinated by Becky Bell, SLP, who strive to provide compassionate, individual attention to therapists, staff, and client families served by the Dreamplex.
How We Support
- Provide an opportunity for people to share personal experiences, feelings, coping strategies, resources, and information
- Organize meals, family/hospital visits, support, etc.
- Facilitate Bible studies
- Provide contacts for community resources
- Plan community events for encouragement and education
Becky Bell, SLP
Family Support Coordinator
Becky Bell has worked as a speech-language pathologist for this organization since 2002. She also serves as the Director of Staff and Family Support organizing the staff of the Dreamplex in ministering to the families we serve and each other, especially in times of crisis. As a faith-based Christian organization this is one way we work to serve our families well.
We enjoy organizing and hosting events where we can support one another in person (or virtually). When we have an event on the calendar, we post it here!
The Central Florida Dreamplex Parent Support program hosted Night of Encouragement on November 7th, 2022. The night featured the Scheel Family sharing their story, Adriana Watt speaking on caregiver burnout, and Elizabeth Watson from the Agency for Person’s with Disabilities speaking on Medwaiver and other programs.
Night of Encouragement was recorded and uploaded here. We welcome you to watch!
